PSHE

PSHE education helps pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to manage many of the critical opportunities, challenges and responsibilities they will face as they grow up and approach adulthood.

By teaching pupils to stay safe and healthy and by building self-esteem, resilience and empathy, our effective PSHE programme helps tackle barriers to learning, raise aspirations, and improve the life chances of all our pupils.

Across their 7 years at Elstow School, pupils will develop their understanding of; Relationships Education; Relationships and Sex Education (RSE); and Health Education.

The curriculum will be delivered throughout the year, utilising some lesson time, assemblies and prep sessions.

As per Department for Education guidance, we are sharing the letter and content of the sessions and the resources used in these sessions with you in advance and are available for you to view here….
