Friends of Elstow

About us

Friends of Elstow School was established and registered with the Charity Commission in 1996. As a charity, its purpose is to raise money to provide enrichment to the children’s school lives at Elstow School.

The charity is run by volunteer trustees and volunteers from the school (parents, carers, grandparents, and staff), as well as local community volunteers who care about the school. A list of trustees in linked below.

Through our social events for the children, e.g., discos and movie nights, and fundraising events such as bake sales, summer and Christmas fairs, and our pre-loved uniform shop, we have successfully raised money to provide a library system, books for the library, and other legacy contributions.

Pre-loved uniform

Our pre-loved uniform shop was opened in July 2023 and we have over 300 items in stock including branded and non-branded clothing, shoes and backpacks. Everything is carefully checked for quality before being washed, ironed and packaged. If you would like to take a look at our latest stock, uniformely is linked below.

Latest news

We keep parents, carers, and school staff updated via a monthly newsletter. You can also keep track of what is happening on our school notice board located in the entrance lobby or by following the school’s Facebook page linked below.
